Artists like Post Malone, Kid Rock, Mikey Cyrus, Madonna. Have used black music to further their careers and then effortlessly put it away like an old coat and move on with their lives. Black American music was born of struggle and hardship. Black music was used to uplift, instruct and even set free, whether that was physical, spiritual or mental freedom
