One way that we caribou(t) our grey wolves is by giving them exceptional enrichment opportunities! 🦌 Our Animal Care, Health & Welfare (ACHW) team built this creative caribou for our wolf pack! The head was made from a bag full of crinkle paper and antlers, and sheared alpaca hair was used on the body. This novel item also featured scent enrichment as it was sprayed with perfumes and spices. Our pack was curious but cautious, with male ‘Takoda’ leading the charge and taking some of the caribou
