Medusa, our resident alligator snapping turtle, enjoys spending most of her time in the water, buried in the mud. Alligator Snapping Turtles are naturally lazy! They have a pink extension on their tongue that acts as a fishing lure. This way, they can remain completely still and have their fish dinner come right to their mouth.
